"Go into yourself. Find out the reason that commands you to write; see whether it has spread its root into the very depths of your heart; confess to yourself whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write." Rainier Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

Sorry for commenting on such an old post.

When you say its a day of love so lets stop cribbing, I get a question, what exactly is love? Accepting things as they are? or trying to make something/someone better?

For eg, when i recently gave a box of chocolates to a cousin, she instantly cribbed that she didn't like that brand of chocolates. My aunt scolded her that she was being insensitive and she should accept whatever is given in love, but my cousin's argument was that she truly loved me as family so she openly told me what she liked and what she didn't. If I was an outsider, then she would hv accepted the gift without commenting. I felt both were versions of love but didn't realize which was correct..

yeah i think both are the versions, and that both might be correct !!
i would very honestly accept that if u put up that question to me "what is love" i would be clueless
